Finally! After 15 months, this week we move into our new home in the Nashville area. This means I get to set up shop in a fabulous new workspace! If you follow my blog, you know that my previous space was a converted one-car garage. CLICK HERE to see how it looked as I was moving out. It was about 200 square feet – a nice size but completely filled with tables, machines, fabric, feet, and notions. My brand-new space is 3x the size and configured in a way that I think will be much more useful. Watch the video below for a quick tour and you’ll see that I have a few amenities including a separate filming room for making videos and lots and lots of storage.

Design Fever

I’ve been designing this space in my head for over a year now and I’m still not totally sure how It will look when I’m finished. I’d love to have some input for organizing and storage ideas including furniture options and fabric storage. As I work on this space, I’ll be reaching out to ask for ideas and tips to make it a functional, efficient, and beautiful space with your help. Here’s the beginning of the list of items (in no particular order) that I will be addressing as I decide how to utilize my new space. I love what creative minds can come up with and any input is appreciated!

To Do list

I’m so excited and absolutely grateful to have the opportunity to work in this space. I hope to sew and teach more than ever. I’m looking forward to what we can do together in the new year!

Happy Stitching!

Susan
