Do you like coloring or painting? If so, you may be interested in a recent blog post I did, entitled Creating Art with your Sewing Machine. This was a guest post for RNK Distributing. You may know them for the product lines they sell such as Quilters Select (Alex Anderson products), Embellish, and Floriani items. The blog post I did is a very fun project involving painting, fusible web, and coloring outside the lines. This mini art piece is only 8″ square and it was so much fun to make.
It started with painting the fusible side of the fusible web, which was a new experience for me, but so exciting! One thing that surprised me was the painted fusible web took on a glittery sheen and made the whole thing sparkle! After the paint dried, I added fabric, batting, and decorative stitches to add more color and texture.

I encourage you to take a look at this project and try both the art and the sewing techniques and I hope you like creating it as much I did!
