In my last blog post, I talked about BERNINA University and some of the new product introductions. In this short post, I’m going to pass along a quote that was used in the BU opening session. There are so many of us that love to sew but we all know that life often gets in the way, and we don’t sew and create as much as we‘d like. This quote reminds us that we can prioritize our time to create with needle and thread!
Sewing, quilting, embroidery – these are all fun and satisfying ways to be creative but it’s more than just something to do in your “free” time. It gives you a chance to slow down and focus on creating projects that you love – something for yourself, your home, or gifts for your family and friends. It can also be a way to relax, reduce stress, and feel productive. Ultimately, sewing can produce JOY. It is a reminder that taking time for yourself and pursuing what brings you happiness is not only useful, but necessary. So don’t forget to prioritize your stitching time that gives you JOY and keeps you sane.
